FOR HALLOWEEN EVENTS 

Each year there are many hosts to Halloween events in the area. It has become an international day to something different and scary whether it is through experience or becoming the nightmare itself. Halloween has been celebrated and evolved over the years as much as we have. People were even celebrating Halloween in the 1800’s! Don’t believe us? Talk to the people at Pickering Village Museum, they know what I’m talking about. SO if it was good enough to celebrate back then, imagine all the things you can do now with our advanced technology and our contorted sense of humor.

When you’re thinking about Halloween events, you don’t have to look too far. Most people remember starting out their first Halloween event picking pumpkins at your local pumpkin farm. It was such a fun experience because at that age it seemed like there were too many pumpkins to pick from! All your parents remember is lugging the giant one you chose, why was it so big!?! Cause we have amazing Canadian farmers, thanks ya’ll.

Decorating the pumpkin yourself for a family Halloween event was always the best kind of mess. Who knew such a scary holiday could bring people so close together? Oh wait, its because of the pumpkin pie. Just make sure when you eat a slice, its not combined with the make-up on your face by accident. It tastes a little funny.

As soon as your finished your piece of pie, you’re gone! You’ve been trick or treating for years and are finally sick of all of the apples and suckers you just keep getting. Even if you eat healthy every other day of the year, intend on waking up with cavities after Halloween! J  

However, no cavities this year! You’re going out for a new Halloween buzz. So many places to go to and events to attend. If you’re really into your costume a zombie walk is always a good idea! Just remember if they turn out to be an actual zombie, make sure you trip the person next to you.
